Reaching $2 billion tells us that thousands of business owners have trusted us to be part of their journey. It also reflects the confidence our broker partners have placed in IOU over the years. They have countless lending options available to them, yet they continue to choose us because they know we’ll treat their clients with honesty, transparency, and respect. That trust, from both our customers and our partners, is something we never take for granted.
I’m also incredibly grateful to the people who make IOU what it is. Every member of our team has contributed to this achievement, whether they’re working directly with customers or supporting the business behind the scenes. Together with our broker partners, they’ve built relationships based on responsiveness, integrity, and doing right by small business owners.
That’s something I’m just as proud of as the $2 billion milestone itself.
As we celebrate, I’ve been thinking about how we should remember this moment. Of course, we’ll recognize the achievement. It’s an important chapter in our company’s history. But I hope we don’t simply memorialize a dollar amount.
I hope we memorialize the businesses behind it.
The entrepreneurs who created jobs in their communities. The families whose livelihoods depend on those businesses. The dreams that became reality because someone had access to the capital they needed at exactly the right time.
That’s the legacy I’d like this milestone to represent.
And while $2 billion is an incredible achievement, I don’t see it as a finish line. I see it as proof that what we’re doing matters.
There are still countless small businesses with great ideas waiting for an opportunity. There are more communities to strengthen, more jobs to support, and more entrepreneurs who deserve a lending partner they can trust.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together. But I believe our most meaningful work is still ahead of us.

This milestone is yours as much as it is ours. Thank you for helping us reach $2 billion. More importantly, thank you for helping thousands of small businesses move forward. We’re just getting started.
